The gel should be water based with water content in excess of 94 % and the balance from natural extract of plants / vegetable like melaleuca alt (Melaleuca alterfornia) and permitted stabilizers. The entire blanket should be duly sterilized by gamma radiation so as to be suitable for use as a medical first aid therapy.
